Expressions of Interest Invited

Clare Tourism Development is inviting expressions of interest from creative professionals to form a panel we can call upon for scheduled events on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.

This opportunity focuses on enhancing the visitor experience while celebrating County Clare’s rich cultural heritage across its tourism attractions, including Bunratty Castle & Folk Park.

Successful applicants will form part of a pool that Clare Tourism Development may engage for events across the county. It presents an opportunity to showcase your skills and connect with both national and international visitors at well-known heritage sites.

Craft Workshops and Demonstrations

We are welcoming expressions of interest from:

• Art and craft workshop providers

• Craft demonstrators

• Willow weavers

• Wool weavers and spinners

• Heritage craft practitioners

• Hands-on creative facilitators

Workshops that are interactive, educational and suitable for family audiences are particularly encouraged. Demonstrations that showcase traditional skills, heritage crafts or nature-based creativity may be especially well suited to this setting.

Providers should be comfortable delivering workshops to visitors of varying ages and adapting sessions to event formats.

Entertainers and Family Performers

We are are also seeking:

• Magicians

• Puppeteers

• Circus skills artists

• Family entertainers

• Storytellers

• Costumed performers

• Choirs

Performers who can engage audiences in an interactive and welcoming way will be a strong fit.

Traditional Irish Musicians and Dancers

To celebrate Clare’s rich cultural heritage, weare inviting expressions of interest from:

Traditional Irish Musicians and Singers

Including but not limited to:

• Fiddle players

• Tin whistle performers

• Harpists

• Bodhrán players

• Traditional instrumentalists

• Traditional or sean-nós singers

Irish Dancers

• Solo dancers

• Set dancers

• Group performances

• Performers of all ages

Solo performers, duos, trios and larger groups are all welcome to express interest.

Performers should be flexible and available to work on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year as events arise.
