Knights of Munster

Defending the honour of Munster!

Cheer them on with “Munster Abú”

Sir Brendan

“The Rainbow Knight”

Easily identified by the rainbow shield icon that he wears on his collar, Brendan is one of the most experienced fighters in the country with well over 10 years of experience fighting in armour, while not as big as some of his opponents he has a huge amount of technical skill to draw on to see him victorious. He is a fast, light-footed opponent who can often be found dancing in and out of the List.

His battle cry of "For the joy" expresses his love for fighting.

“The Dark Destroyer”

One of the most experienced fighters in all of Ireland, Anthony is an expert in sword and shield and a dab hand with a longsword too, and in group fights his two handed axe is to be feared. He has fought opponents from all corners of the world and emerged victorious time and time again.

Hailing from Waterford the cry of 'Up The Deise" always urges him on.

Anthony

Daryll

“The Silent”

Soft spoken and taciturn Daryll lets his longsword speak for him, and it is rarely quiet. Outside of the list he is kind, generous and always willing to help his fellow fighters, but when he fights he is fast, dangerous and cunning, not a man to be underestimated.

“The Scholar”

Not only is Brian a highly skilled swordsman, who's technical expertise are matched by only a few others with the longsword, but he is also one of Ireland's most experienced marshals, respected by fighters for his fair calls and eye for safety in the list.

Brian

Ryan

“The Prince"

A proud member of the McCarthy clan, descended from their royal line, Ryan is an experienced member of the Knights of Munster, he has had a hand in training almost all of the other members of the club. Always proud to flaunt his wealth Ryan is usually the flashiest fighter in the list.

“The Northman”

Born and raised in distant Sweden Göran joined the Knights of Munster less than a year ago, in this short time he has amassed a wealth of experience and to become a core member of the Knights of Munster.

His battle cry of “Fran Norr till Seger” [pronounced Fron nor till sea-ger] meaning “From the North to Victory” tells you he has not come all this way to lose.

Göran

Donal

“The Crusader” Clancy

One of the oldest Knights in the country, but don't underestimate him, he is hungry for victory and well able to keep up with fighters half his age. The Clancys hail from just North-west of Bunratty, and were proud allies and supporters of the O'Brien clan.

“The Grappler”

The nicest man to ever batter you.

Fast, strong and dangerous Adrian is already a force to be reckoned with despite only being in armour a handful of times. Don't get into a grapple with him or you are going down.

Adrian

Grace

“The Witch of Steel”

Another newer member of the Knights of Munster, and the club's first woman in armour, Grace is eager to impress and always enthusiastic. In her bright purple gambeson she is easily recognised and stands out from the crowd. Cheer her on as she takes on the men.
