Bugs, Bees and Biodiversity

Bugs, Bees and Biodiversity

Your group will learn how how to care for the environment around them.

Biodiversity is the sum of the millions of species and habitats on our planet working together to generate and sustain life as we know it. In Bunratty we are surrounded by an abundance of nature which enriches the cultural heritage around the Castle and Folk Park.
More and more people now live in big towns and cities with little reference to our natural environment. Here in Bunratty your class will work with our expert gardeners and discover how people have traditionally lived off the land in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Bugs, Bees and Biodiversity Tour is €11 per student.
This includes general access to the Castle and Folk Park
Allow 3 hours for your tour to ensure you make it up to the castle and around the village street.
