Join us on Saturday, April 4th, and Sunday, April 5th from for 2 fun-filled, jam packed days of Easter themed fun, games and activities! 

There is something for all ages to enjoy on a visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Bubbles of Wonder

A brand new burst of colour and creativity is arriving at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park this Easter with the spectacular Street Theatre Bubble Show and Circus Walkabout. Taking over the Village Street at 11am, 2pm and 3.15pm, with each show lasting approximately 20 minutes, this mesmerising performance uses custom made strings, wands and nets to create giant bubbles, shimmering clouds of bubbles, foam and even fog filled bubbles. 

Between shows, the vibrant Circus Walkabout will weave through the crowds with dazzling juggling skills, featuring LED Diabolo, glowing juggling balls and silk fans, sure to wow audiences of all ages throughout the day.

The Wobbly Circus

Circus Performers & Entertainment

For an unforgettable, fun-filled afternoon this Easter, don't miss the Wobbly Circus performances taking place daily just outside the Tea Room. 

This high-energy, interactive show is a hit with all ages, blending a mix of slapstick comedy, playful clowning, and amazing circus skills into one lively spectacle.

Be wowed by daring fire-juggling, impressive unicycle tricks, and a whirlwind of circus stunts—all delivered with a lively dose of humour and audience participation. And keep an eye out for the fabulous Lady Long Bottom, our towering stiltwalker, who will be bringing an extra touch of magic and mischief throughout the day.

Say Hello to the Easter Bunny & Chick

What Easter celebration is complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny? The Bunratty Easter Bunny is busy fluffing his tail and practising his very best bunny hop ahead of the arrival of all the boys and girls to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park on the 4th and 5th of April.

Little visitors will be greeted on arrival with a sweet treat from the Easter Bunny and his adorable from, the Chick. Keep an eye out as they hop their way around the park sharing laughs and photo opportunities along the way. 

Meet the fluffy Easter Bunny and friendly Chick outside admissions from 10.30am to 1.30pm & 2pm to 4pm.

Seasonal Fun

Traditional Baking and Butter Making

Golden Vale Farmhouse

Step back in time at the Golden Vale Farmhouse where the Bean an Tí will bring the traditions of rural Ireland to life. At 12pm, enjoy a traditional griddle bread baking demonstration as fresh bread is prepared the old-fashioned way over the open hearth. At 2.30pm discover how cream is churned by hand into the rich butter that we all know and love today. 

Throughout the day, the Bean an Tí will share stories of how families lived and worked, offering a glimpse of what life was like in rural Ireland from times gone by.

Clare's Finest Musicians

Enjoy live traditional music as two outstanding Clare groups join us in Bunratty Castle and Folk Park this Easter. Cludhmór, a talented group of up to eight young musicians from Co. Clare have come together through the prestigious Siansa Gael Linn competition at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. Individually, they are highly accomplished performers and dancers with numerous titles at Fleadh Cheoil competitions and regularly perform at sessions and events throughout the county.

Joining them are "From Clare to Here", a family group of four musicians and singles based in Newmarket-on-Fergus. Following the release of their album The Idle Road in April 2025, they have performed widely including appearances at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford, Lahinch Traditional Music Festival, Feakle Music Festival and various music venues across the county.
