Join us for two days of family fun this February half-term! On Saturday, 22nd February, and Sunday, 23rd February, from 11 am to 5 pm, we'll have a juggling extravaganza, train rides, traditional Irish music, puppet shows, and much more!

The Wobbly Circus

A Spectacle of Laughter and Wonder

Prepare to be dazzled as The Wobbly Circus joins us in Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, delivering a spectacular mix of comedy, incredible circus skills, and interactive entertainment. Watch in amazement as skilled performers juggle with precision and captivate with expert mime, all while keeping the energy high and the laughter rolling.

Family Fun

Join Konor the Clown on Saturday the 22nd February and Sunday 23rd February for a range of entertainment, including puppet shows, magic tricks, dancing and all sorts of fun.

A firm favourite with families of all ages, these delightful performances will take place throughout the day in the Corn Barn and are guaranteed to get you giggling!

All Aboard!

Join us on a magical train ride aboard the Bunratty Express, and explore the magnificent woodland wonderland that is Bunratty Folk Park. Experience the magic of the fairy village, get a glimpse of the Irish Red Deer in the folk park paddocks, greet the friendly animals that call the park their home and admire the breathtaking Georgian architecture of Bunratty House. Don't miss out on the beautifully reconstructed Ardcroney Church and many other delightful sights along the way.

Each train ride takes approx 10 mins.

Buggy parking is available at the Red Barn behind Macs Pub.

Celebrating the best of Irish Culture

Many of the traditional methods, music and tales practised in Ireland of the early 1900s will be celebrated at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park throughout our Midterm Family Fun weekend.

Traditional Music 
Meet our resident musicians and join in on a seisiun or two, guaranteed to have your feet tapping and your hands clapping.

Traditional Storytelling
Join our Seanchaí, Mickey Joe, in Corry's Pub on the Village Street  as he recalls tales of bygone days and traditional ways preserved over the centuries.

Butter Making 
Join the Bean an Tí's in the Golden Vale Farmhouse at 12pm and 2pm as they showcase the traditional art of butter making. Learn step by step how this delicious, creamy substance is produced in the traditional manner.
