Twilight at Bunratty

There's nothing quite like a summer evening at Bunratty.

There's a different side to Bunratty after four o'clock. From 21 June to 31 August, our Twilight Ticket opens the Folk Park for relaxed evening visits — costumed characters, Free Family Orienteering, dinner at the Corn Barn Restaurant and late shopping at the Bunratty Craft & Design Store, all at a special evening rate.

**Excludes a castle visit, as Bunratty Castle closes daily at 16:00 ahead of its evening Medieval Banquets.

The Park After Hours

Explore the Folk Park at your own pace

When the day visitors drift home, the Folk Park settles into a softer mood; the light mellows over the village street, the shadows stretch a little longer, turf smoke hangs in the air, and there's time to wander at your own pace.

From 21 June to 31 August, our Twilight Ticket invites you to experience it for yourself. Enter any evening between 16:00 and 19:00 and explore 26 acres of living history at your leisure. Follow the winding paths between thatched farmhouses, fisherman's cottages and village dwellings, each one telling its own story of Irish life as it was lived more than a century ago. Along the way you'll meet our costumed characters, who bring the past vividly to life; listen to their tales, ask them about their daily routines, and discover what life was really like in 19th-century Ireland.

Evening visits come at a special online rate:
Adult: €13.00
Children: €7.60
