Our Resident Trumpeter

Meet Alejandro Hernandez, or Angel as he is affectionately known! Angel is a highly qualified trumpet player with over 10 years of trumpeting experience.

He began his career in 2012 with a musical pre-university course at Universidad Mayor de Chile and later specialized in music with the Chilean Air Force. He earned a Diploma in Music Production in 2019 and a Certificate in Jazz and Popular Music in 2020.
 
Notably, he performed for Pope Francis in 2018 for his arrival in Santiago, showcasing his musical and performance ability in high-profile settings.
 
In Ireland, Mr. Hernandez has actively participated in various musical groups and band competitions. He has contributed significantly to the Redemptorist Centre of Music in Limerick. He has performed at several musical events in the University Concert Hall.
 
We are delighted to have welcomed Angel as our resident trumpeter at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in 2024!
