Stop by the Golden Vale Farmhouse, where Mrs Claus is busy preparing treats and making sure Santa's suit is washed and ironed for his big journey across the globe on Christmas Eve.

Pop in for a chat, then continue your wander along Village Street, illuminated in festive splendour, where a host of seasonal characters, including Scrooge, The Grinch, and more, are ready to entertain you every step of the way.

Puppet & Magic Shows: For a dose of festive giggles and a sprinkle of magic, don't miss our puppet and magic shows, back again for Christmas 2026. Running throughout the day, these enchanting performances are a firm favourite with families of every age, packed with fun that's guaranteed to fill you with undeniable Christmas cheer.

Bunratty Polar Express: When your feet need a rest, climb aboard the Bunratty Polar Express for a captivating ride through the wintry heart of the Folk Park. Settle in and watch the wonderland roll by the charming fairy village, the dazzling illuminations of Bunratty House, and the sparkling lights of Ardcrony Church all make an appearance, with plenty more delightful surprises waiting to be spotted along the route.

Fireside Tales with the Seanchaí: Beyond the lights and the shows, the festive magic takes a quieter turn by the fire. Settle in with our resident Seanchaí for a spot of storytelling, where timeless Christmas tales are shared just as they always have been. Discover enchanting stories of celebrations from yesteryear, uncover cherished traditions of old, and experience first-hand what makes an Irish Christmas so special.

Should you or a member of your family require additional assistance during your visit to our Christmas Experience, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance. For families with sensory needs, please contact our reservations office directly on 061 711222 or email bunratty@claretourismdev.ie.

Our team will arrange an arrival time for your booking (not applicable for online bookings), where you’ll be warmly welcomed before checking in. After check-in, your family will have the opportunity for fast-track access to the grotto and may be among the first to visit Santa during your selected time slot; however, this cannot be guaranteed if other families have similar needs.

Please note: After the initial welcome and check-in, families proceed to the grotto independently.
