The Bunratty Explorer Tour

A self-guided tour that encompasses all elements of the castle and folk park

Engage & Explore Tour

Guided Tour of Castle and self guided tour of folk park plus 1 activity of your choice – €12 per child. Duration: 3 hrs in total
  • Animal Husbandry & Conservation – Daily rounds with our resident farmer gathering eggs, feeding the animals, walking the Wolfhounds & learning the importance of animal care and welfare. For more information Click Here


  • Butter Churning with Bunratty Folk Park Bean an Ti - The Bean an ti demonstrate the making of butter in the old stlye manner using a milk separator and 19th century butter churn.  Students will learn about this period and benefit from the sage advice of these capable and wise ladies!
