Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is delighted to announce a series of fascinating events in celebration of National Heritage Week 2021.

20Apr Bunratty Folk Park Among Outdoor Sites to Reopen to the Public Shannon Group has announced the reopening of Bunratty Folk Park in Co. Clare from Friday 30th April. The announcement follows the lifting of Government restrictions for outdoor heritage sites. The Folk Park will open four days a week initially for residents of Co. Clare and Limerick people living within 20 kilometres of the popular attraction. View More

March 2021 Shannon Group buildings light up Green for St Patrick’s Day Iconic buildings will be lighting up green and a host of events are planned as Shannon Group’s contribution to a virtual celebration of St Patrick’s Day. Plans announced for multi-million euro rejuvenation of Bunratty Castle and Folk Park Shannon Group’s tourist experiences and attractions company, Shannon Heritage, has lodged a planning application with Clare County Council, which will see them undertake the single largest investment at the recently announced Irish tourist attraction of the year, since it first opened its doors in 1963.
