Bringing Woodworking History to Life

Eoin Reardon, also known as "pintofplane" to his millions of fans, isn't just a skilled woodworker – he's a passionate advocate for keeping traditional techniques alive.

Bringing the magic of historical woodworking to life

This Irish craftsman found his calling during lockdown, building a currach (a traditional Irish boat) in his parents' garden. Since then, he's dedicated himself to mastering and sharing the artistry of age-old woodworking methods.

Eoin's captivating online tutorials have garnered a massive following on TikTok (over 3 million!) and YouTube (over 450,000 subscribers). Whether it's using a pole lathe, crafting a maul with just hand tools, or upcycling antique chairs, Eoin brings the magic of historical woodworking to life for a whole new generation.

He'll be taking up residence at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park this summer, demonstrating his craft and sharing his knowledge in the castle courtyard every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am - 4.30pm until September 22nd 2024.
